Chicago Fashion Week turns the whole city into a venue. Running October 8–18, 2026, the week packs in 50 runway shows, pop-ups, industry seminars, shopping events, and launch parties — all open to the public — across museums, design spaces, shops, and galleries in city neighborhoods.
Standout Events
Highlights on the calendar include Marche Prive: Fashion Week Edition at the Zhou B Art Center (October 10), a T-shirt Upcycling Workshop at Ryerson Hall (October 14), the Chicago Fair Trade Clothing Swap (October 16), the Chicago Streetwear Expo at The Expo Warehouse (October 17), and Flamboyant by Force at Silveroom (October 17).
It’s a deliberately broad mix: fashion history, vintage, and avant-garde sit side by side, with a blend of free and ticketed events so anyone can build their own week.
Eleven days, fifty shows, and a city full of venues — Chicago’s fashion week is aiming to make the industry part of the neighborhood.
