Grace Winery – The Best Destination for This Season says H.H. Dr. Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe

When elegance, history, and hospitality come together in perfect harmony, the result is nothing short of magical. On Sunday, September 7, 2025, members of the Princess Grace Foundation Guild gathered for an unforgettable day at Grace Winery in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania—an event that will be remembered as one of the Guild’s most cherished excursions. Chris named the winery after his sister Grace and his aunt is HSH Princess Grace of Monaco born Grace Kelly.

An Award Winning Winery Steeped in Heritage

From the moment the Guild’s private coach departed Manhattan, joy buzzed among members. The destination – Grace Winery – proved to be a world apart from the city’s clamor. Nestled along 50 Sweetwater Road, the estate opened its gates to reveal lush vineyards, historic stone buildings, and an atmosphere that exuded refinement at every turn.

The winery itself is a living testament to Pennsylvania’s viticultural excellence. Guided tours unfolded the estate’s rich history dating back to the 1700s, blending the rustic with the refined. Wine tastings highlighted the craftsmanship behind each vintage: bold reds, crisp whites, and delicate rosés—all of which captured the artistry of winemaking in its purest form.

The Jewel of the Estate: The Inn at Grace Winery

If the winery dazzled, the Inn at Grace Winery sealed the estate’s reputation as a world-class destination. Tucked among the vines, the finest 20-room boutique hotel was lauded by Guild members as one of the most beautiful inns in the country. Each room, uniquely designed with stone fireplaces, antique accents, and sweeping vineyard views, whispered both history and luxury.

It was not just a place to stay—it was an experience. A retreat into a world where every detail was curated for comfort, intimacy, and timeless grace. The Inn stood out as the crown jewel of the estate and set the tone for an excursion worthy of royalty.

H.H. Dr. Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe: “9 Pillows on the King Size Deluxe Bed of the Suite in the Inn broke every record I have seen before, and I know almost every relevant landmark hotel in the world! The food, the ambience, the destination, this Hotel is a MUST STAY!”.

A Celebration of Community & Grace

The Guild’s reserved private space was alive with laughter, music, and conversation. As live music filled the air, members savored artisan cheeses, charcuterie, and the estate’s signature wines. For many, the highlight of the afternoon was the chance to explore the grounds—wandering among the vineyards, meeting the estate’s animals, and capturing picture-perfect moments framed by golden Pennsylvania light.

What made the day truly special was not just the beauty of Grace Winery, but the sense of fellowship it inspired. The Princess Grace Foundation Guild is rooted in legacy and community, and this day trip embodied both. For a few precious hours, Guild members stepped into a space that felt removed from time—where history, hospitality, and heritage intertwined seamlessly.

The Best of the Best

Looking back, the event was a showcase of “the best”:

  • The Best Winery: Grace Winery, with its timeless beauty and exquisite wines, proved why it is among Pennsylvania’s most celebrated estates.

  • The Best Inn: The Inn at Grace Winery, a 20-room masterpiece, offered a glimpse into boutique luxury at its finest.

  • The Best Trip: The Guild’s day in Glen Mills became a living celebration of Grace Winery’s legacy of elegance, generosity, and grace.

A Legacy Carried Forward

As the coach carried Guild members back to Manhattan at sunset, the day felt less like a trip and more like a story—one written into the continuing narrative of the Foundation. Grace Winery, under the stewardship of Chris, his family and guided tour with Moviestar Actress Ginna Le Vine, opened its doors not just to visitors, but to a family of kindred spirits who left with memories as rich and lasting as the wines themselves.

The Princess Grace Foundation Guild’s day at Grace Winery was more than an outing. It was a reminder that grace, in all its forms, is timeless—and that when shared among friends in such a setting, it becomes unforgettable.
