Torrance to Host the 2026 Lunar New Year Fair & 22nd American Chinese Spring Festival Gala

A Landmark Year-of-the-Horse Celebration Uniting Culture, Community, and Heritage

The South Bay Chinese American Association of California USA and the American Chinese Cultural Association, together with supporting organizations including the Roundtable of Southern California Chinese American Organizations, proudly announce the upcoming 2026 Torrance Lunar New Year Fair and the 22nd American Chinese Spring Festival Gala. These celebrations will take place January 11, 2026, at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center and Armstrong Theatre, honoring the vibrant spirit of the Year of the Horse.

In 2025, the South Bay Chinese-American Association and the American Chinese Cultural Association staged a remarkable Lunar New Year celebration, showcasing cultural dance ensembles, music performances, and multicultural artistic displays that drew widespread praise.

Building on that momentum, the organizers aim to make the 2026 celebration even more extraordinary. The combination of these two major events is expected to draw an even larger audience, bringing together politicians, dignitaries, business leaders, community groups, and families from across Southern California.

This year marks the first-ever large-scale Chinese New Year celebration held at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center—an exciting milestone for the community. Attendees can expect a dynamic festival atmosphere filled with cultural showcases, traditional performances, family-friendly activities, artisan booths, and gourmet food representing the heart of the Lunar New Year.

Organizers invite businesses, schools, organizations, performers, artists, and community members to participate as sponsors, vendors, performers, volunteers, or gala attendees in this joyous cultural tradition.
