Royal Spotlight Royale: Two Superstars
An unforgettable night at the brand-new Laurie Beechman Theatre, 42nd Street, Manhattan
Broadway shimmered brighter than ever when the newly renovated Laurie Beechman Theatre opened its doors for a spectacular night of music and star power. The event, titled Spotlight Royale: Two Voices, One Stage, brought together two extraordinary talents—Antonia Bennett and N’Kenge—in a dazzling celebration of artistry, heritage, and timeless music.
Antonia Bennett –
Expressions
Launching her brand-new album Expressions (Spotify, 2025), Antonia Bennett, daughter of the legendary Tony Bennett, enchanted the audience with her soulful interpretations of jazz standards and fresh arrangements. Her voice—intimate, elegant, and powerful—proved why she has earned her place as one of today’s most exciting vocalists, blending classic tradition with contemporary style.
Highlights from Expressions included:
- “Do You Still Think of Me”
- “Once I Loved”
- “Vous Qui Passez Sans Me Voir”
- “See You on the Other Side”
N’Kenge –
Centerstage
Sharing the spotlight, N’Kenge, hailed as a “polished diamond” by the New York Times, performed selections from her new album Centerstage. Seamlessly crossing genres—from Broadway to jazz to Motown—N’Kenge electrified the room with powerhouse vocals and stage presence, proving why she is one of the most versatile and beloved performers of her generation.
A Night of Stars & Community
The evening also featured special appearances by rising stars Jahzara Martina, Jeremy Schonfeld, and winners of the “Are You the Next Showstopper?” competition: Matteo Russo, Mia Soleil Sanchez, and Gus Schonfeld. Backed by world-class musicians, the stage pulsed with talent and energy.
Guests also took part in a charity auction benefiting The N’Kenge Foundation, supporting scholarships and mentorship for the next generation of performing artists.
The Venue
The Laurie Beechman Theatre, freshly and AMAZING renovated and glowing in its red marquee light, stood tall as Manhattan’s new “super theatre.” My New favorite, H.H. Dr. Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe. Its reimagined space set the perfect backdrop for a night that will be remembered as one of the city’s cultural highlights.
Two icons. One stage. One historic evening.
Spotlight Royale was not just a concert—it was a milestone moment in New York’s musical legacy.
